He recently co-edited the volume "Cosmopatriots - On Distant Belonging and Close Encounters" (Rodopi), and published on popular music, cinema and new technologies in China.?His current research project focuses on the Beijing Olympiad and is titled “Celebrations and Contestations of Chineseness - The Beijing 2008 Olympics and 21st Century Imaginations of Place, Culture and Identity.” See also http://home.tiscali.nl/jeroendekloet
